Yes it is - I did Advanced Criminal Law as an elective and really enjoyed it (got a distinction).  I feel like criminal law is maybe where I want to go legal career-wise, though I’m very aware of the hurdles facing me (small field, demanding clients, unrealistic expectations instilled by television, etc).

And I’ve lined up some work in a small firm that deals with criminal matters (among other things), so I think I’ll probably finish my PLT there and get some experience before I make a definite decision.  But right now it’s looking like a serious possibility.

This is why I find the casting of a white actor in this role to be so repugnant. They are not whitewashing an Asian role, they are saying that the best genetic material that the entirety of this world and it’s diversity has to offer….still comes from a white guy.

I held off watching The Following and Hannibal because I was very wary of the way tumblr latches on to killers as handsome angsty manpain people to be fawned over and desired.  (I don’t care how nice your face is - doing horrible things makes you ugly.  Fact.)

But then I caved and watched both, and I’m actually quite enjoying them on their own merit.  I’m probably gonna stay five thousand miles away from the fandom though.  If anyone professes to me that any of those killers are just ‘misunderstood’ I shall give them a harsh talking to.
